The deal

Half is yours.
Every line, every month.

No fine print you need a lawyer to find. Here's how it works, in plain English.

02 — The deal · climax

Where the money goes.

GrossWhat DSPs, YouTube and others pay
− Distribution feeWhat the distributor keeps
= Net receiptsWhat actually lands
50% youPays back any advance first
50% APMGFunds the marketing

Content ID and UGC income counts as net receipts, the same as streams.

50/50 of net receipts

Net receipts is what comes in after the distributor's fee. We split it down the middle.

Advances come from your half

If you take an advance, it's paid back out of your 50% only. Once it's covered, your half pays out.

15-year license per master

We don't own your song forever. Each master is licensed for 15 years, then the rights come back to you.

Monthly statements

Every month you get a statement: streams, net receipts, your half, what's been recouped and what's left.

No cross-collateral by default

Each deal has its own ledger. One song's advance doesn't eat another song's money unless the contract says so.

We bring the marketing

Content, ads and pitching are on us. We test each release, and the records that hit get more fuel.

How it goes.

  1. We find you

Or you send us the song. Either way, it starts with a record that's working.

  2. We talk

Real call. Terms on the table up front.

  3. We sign

50/50, 15 years, the advance if you want one. Your lawyer reads it, then we sign.

  4. We release

You deliver the masters, artwork and splits. We handle distribution.

  5. We push it

Content and paid marketing, measured at day 3, 7 and 14.

  6. You see the numbers

Statements every month. Same books we look at.
